VP Risk Management
Chuck is a leader in the industry with 50 plus years of industry specific safety and risk management experience ranging from distribution projects through 6-bundle conductor 765kV projects. Chuck has developed and implemented numerous project and company level safety programs in addition to directly managing project safety professionals responsible for implementing inspections, audits, training programs, and safety reporting across multiple states, projects, and utility companies. Under his direction, Chuck was in charge of public safety when SRP was awarded Arizona’s Howard Pyle Award for “Outstanding Public Safety Efforts.”
Chuck’s focus is on the health and safety of our team members, partners, project stakeholders, and the public. Chuck provides safety oversight of all operations to ensure they meet contractual, organizational, and regulatory safety requirements including relevant industry standards.
Chuck holds several safety professional credentials and certifications, including an MBA Risk Management from University of Arizona OSHA 500 Outreach Training, is a certified ET&D instructor. His article, “Public Safety, Can you Afford Not To?” was published in T&D Magazine.
